DESIGN ENGINEER

FTF Engineering is looking for a Design Engineer with 2 to 6 years of experience to work in our San Francisco or San Luis Obispo office. Desired requirements for this role include:

  • Design experience with steel, concrete, and wood with a strong analytical background.
  • Flexible in the assigned tasks, work diligently to meet deadlines, able to work independently; enthusiastic about working to take projects to the “next level”.
  • BS or MS (preferred) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • PE License.
  • Desired Computer Skills: RISA-3D, SAP2000, ETABS, RAM Structural, Enercalc, Excel, AutoCAD, REVIT (a plus).

Project Engineer Requirements:

  • 7-10 years working as a structural engineer.
  • Design experience with steel, concrete, and wood with a strong analytical background.
  • Experience working with project stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time efficiently.
  • MS in M.S., C.E. (Structural & Seismic Emphasis)
  • PE License; progress towards or attainment of S.E.
