SFO Cargo Projects Underway
FTF is proud to be serving as the LBE structural engineer on both SFO Cargo projects which are underway and in the design phase.
1. Cargo Building 626.1 – FTF is teamed with KPFF as well as Solomon Cordwell Buenz, and Clark Construction. FTF is responsible for the foundation design of Building 626.1.
2. Cargo Building 720.1 & GSE Building 742 – FTF is teamed with Rutherford + Chekene as well as Woods Bagot, and Skanska. FTF is responsible for the structural design of GSE Building 742.

Are you looking to work on a diverse mix of projects? At FTF Engineering, our structural engineers typically work on 3–5 different project types at a time. We’re currently hiring for the following positions in our San Francisco and San Luis Obispo offices:
DESIGN ENGINEER with 2-6 years of experience
PROJECT ENGINEER with 7-10 years of experience
FTF Signatory Donor for Cal Poly ARCE Endowed Professorship
FTF is proud to support the next generation of structural engineers with a $25,000 donation to launch fundraising for an endowed professorship at ARCE Cal Poly.

California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo “Learn By Doing” approach requires professors with real-world experience, but industry salaries make recruiting challenging. To bridge this gap, we initiated a $1,000,000 endowment to fund a $40,000 annual stipend, helping practicing engineers transition into academia. Help us reach our $1,000,000 goal and make an impact.
