We are thrilled to announce our commitment to the #SE2050 Challenge to work toward net-zero embodied carbon structural systems by 2050! FTF Designer, Josefine Olsson, LEED Green Associate, will be leading this effort to educate our staff on embodied carbon, run Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), implement embodied carbon-reducing strategies in our projects, and has created a comprehensive Embodied Carbon Action Plan. As a firm committed to net-zero embodied carbon structural systems by 2050, FTF will advocate for more sustainable structural design and guide project teams to utilize structural materials with lower environmental impact and methods to track and reduce embodied carbon, in order to reach this goal. Congratulations to Josefine on this leadership role that she has taken on as a commitment to the environment and her work!
