FTF is serving as SEOR for Kern Community College District’s new Multicultural Center at Porterville College. The single-story, 4,500 SF steel building includes an adjacent 600 SF canopy/feature structure, with lateral force resistance provided by steel ordinary moment frames and concentrically braced frames. FTF’s scope covers foundation and structural steel design in coordination with the project architect, along with metal stud framing for exterior cladding and interior partitions.
