FTF is providing full structural engineering design and construction administration services for Bakersfield Community College’s Agriculture Science Building. The project consists of new construction of a nearly 50,000 square foot, three-story rigid steel frame building on a sloping site. FTF worked to optimize the moment frame beams and columns to reduce steel weight and prevent torsion of the irregular structure.
